About

Tomás de’Medici

A Chicagoland native, Tomás de’Medici founded The Chicago Sustainability Series to explore the practical and pragmatic linkages among Sustainability, Inclusion, and Representation. The Series exists to link curiosity, intent, urgency first to greater knowledge and then effective action.

In addition to The Series, he served as Co-Chair of The Chicago Community Trust’s Young Leaders Fund in the 2018-2020 term, and Chaired the Environmental Law & Policy Center’s Next-Gen Advisory Council. A Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow as part of their inaugural Chicago cohort, he will start graduate school at Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering to earn an MS in Energy and Sustainability in fall 2020. Most recently he worked with an early stage solar project developer to play an instrumental role in securing the first R.E.C. awarded in ComEd territory for a Low-Income Community Solar project within the Illinois Solar for All Program.
